Finally, after so much tryouts the final character sheet for my little all time non-anthro fave Character Yang!
 Overall he is a Gampeo, which is a species from Therpa (the world and stories I am working on) generally a gryphon-like critter, without wings, and a long, muscular body, with big webbed paws, a strong chest (for swimming) and a newt-like tail. The furpattern is exactly for camouflage, the belly is light so in the water, specially in rivers, the fishes see the light sky and the light belly if the critter is swimming above them, if he is swimming under them they see the sandy-ground with the stones which looks similar to the marking this species has on the back.. etc. and they swimm like iguanas  jup, all over done in Photoshop and the lineart was done in Illustrator based on a sketch.
