TF - Remise Sheet by Lizkay TF - Remise Sheet by Lizkay
So, got asked if I uploaded this anywere yet than in my LJ (most of my WIP stuff is in my livejournal, also other artworks and sheets I don't upload here)
and because people asked, here you go.
Charactersheet drawn in a mix-up style of Transformers Animated and CloneWars Style, (still hope it looks more like TFA though...)
Remise is a character of the EB Troop, besides a few more I am having together with friends and people RL and online. I am working on a bunch of other sheets in that style... also thinking about doing arttrades again, but well.. just thinking, I am so lame with art stuffs lately, it's unhealthy.
Main reason behind this character was, that we needed a Scout and everybody wanted a character with french accent as well as behavior... :lmao:

Hope ya like Rally ;)

Renault Emblem, R5 Turbo (c) Renault
Transformers & TFA (c) Hasbro
Character (c) EB Troop & me

Personally, I find your current obsession with Transformers **much** less weird than the one about Cars.

Everyone has obsessions and trends in their art. I myself am going through a World of Warcraft obsession in my art.

It's not just about liking something- sometimes the artist needs a change of pace, a way to stretch out and do something new.

The Cars art she and her sister do is adorable, not weird. Her sister did a fantastic personification of my own Nissan.

*goes over to eye your page with a baleful glance*

lol.

*snorts* you don't even have any art posted. You're just a free-loading waste of space on this site, and as such, you have no real right to criticize anyone, and yes, there ARE more important opinions on this site than yours.

Your opinion means little because you lack the proper insight, not being an artist yourself, and therefore no skills or abilities to back your points. As valid as they seem to YOU, they are not.

You're so high in your saddle I can't even see you.

Once you have a point that's credible and valid, let me know so I can stab you in your overtly swollen head.

its not your opinion, it was a comment made to incite hurt and conflict, which well done you made.

so what if people draw *cars* or transformers. disney, my little pony, the lion king thumbalina, cats dogs mice, dragons pink elephants.

people have the right to draw what they like, whats weird in drawing cars? or transformers, I find it a skill to be able to do such a detailed piece of work and I enjoy viewing it.

if you go around with the opinion that just because someone likes something they are weird, then every artist under the sun should stp doing art.

People do art because they love it and it makes them happy, its uploaded to share, but for themselves, and if others happen to like it then well thats a bonus.

I like cheetahs and enjoy drawing them, so i guess i should stop, Helkeri is a brilliant horse artist, but i guess she should stop too, Shinerai enjoys drawing dragonsm so i guess they should stop drawing too, and Oli likes drawibg foxes, so he should stop, traceyjb draws amazing cats, but she should stop too, because if you raw something alot because you like it, then its an a obsession and therefore you are weird.

therefore make a news post on deviantart calling for all artists to stop drawing because they are all weird.

People aren't drawing for *you* they are drawing because it makes them happy. thats what art is about.

Or a news post calling for everyone on the planet to stop doing *anything* because they are all weird. In a "multicultural" society, you are actually required to think that way, if you take off the bias that gets added for politeness.

And it *is* an opinion: I think drawing a bunch of sentient road vehicles is a bit of a waste of her talent - drawing cars can be left to computers, or even someone like me who can't draw lifeforms for peanuts, whereas really talented artists like her can draw something less ordinary.

I have my obsessions too, it's just you would never see them because they aren't really art related.

hmm... actually I don't think that any of my obsessions, (and I still have all of them, they don't come and go...) are weird for me.
If they would be weird for my taste, they wouldn't be my obsessions, so what can I say, I just like what I like.

On the other hand, if you take enough viewpoints into account, everyone in the entire world is equally weird. Not more weird, not less weird, equally weird (but there are clumps where the relative weirdness between clump members is lower). The whole premise of Cars seemed strange to me, and the strangeness sort of transferred onto your art. Maybe I need glasses on my hindsight, because your technical skill never dipped, and I normally take that into account more than I did then.

It seemed vaguely like a waste (of talent). Even I can probably draw cars, and you can certainly draw lots of things that are lots harder to draw. Besides, cars are normal. If I wanted to see normal things, I'd use Google ;).

Hmm. Looks a lot like I have FIMS - Foot-In-Mouth-Syndrome. It causes me to say exactly the wrong thing, particularly in places where the comment can't be retracted.

Go ahead, draw whatever the heck you like. Trivial analysis suggests it will be interesting (to me, at least) 92% of the time and beautiful 99% of the time. This is an extraordinarily high "success" rate.

Mainly depends in how you interpret the word "weird", you can see it in a fairly negative way (so did I), but also just as a replacement for the word "not normal".
I don't really think that any kind of art, drawings, illustrations, etc. are a waste of talent, actually it doesn't make a difference, I start a gryphon with box shapes, when drawing it, as well as a car... generally it's the same work, and also the same enjoyment-factor on my side. I am more a "process" person than a "result" person, partially I don't even care what comes out in the end, as long as I enjoy the work behind, I am doing very very varied pieces of art, but I do have my obessions, which I enjoy deeply, no matter what theme they might be. ;)

Like I said: a) draw what you like, b) chances are, I'll like it, and c) I have this unpleasant and embarrassing tendency to say things.

I have my own obsessions, but have very little to do with art, so people here are unlikely to spot them.

I apologise if I hurt your feelings.

It's an opinion.

I like to leave my (metaphorical) two cents for the artist to find.

It's none of your business.

It's lizkay's business - I was talking about her obsession.

What’s the point of watching this artist if you’re going to make snide comments? I suppose you’d only be happy if this artist drew what YOU found interesting. Get off your high horse and GTFO. And thanks for letting us know that “two-cents” is a metaphorical phase. Where would we be without such informative individuals?

It would be nice if she did draw exclusively what I found interesting. The only time when that hasn't really happened is the time when she drew a bunch of cars. That's the cause of the snideness - she seems to be in a "Transformers" phase, which seems better than the "Cars" phase. The snideness is a side effect (I tend to say exactly what I think, rather than something else entirely like people seem to do).

Why are *you* so important I should care about *your* opinion?
On that basis, nobody should have opinions, because they aren't important enough.

Well if you don't like something then don't look at it. It's not hard looking at the titles in your inbox of what you should ignore. And it is our business because we are her friend. I think now you'll find out just how many of our businesses it is. I think you're just jealous because you can't draw robots or cars. I wonder if you can draw anything at all after looking at your empty gallery. And if you did draw a robot I'm sure Liz's is leaps and bounds better than yours ever could be. You know the phrase they tell little kiddies: If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all. Perhaps you've never heard it.

I *know* I can't draw. That's why I haven't posted anything. This website doesn't need yet another collection of terrible sketches.

I just think she has better things to draw than a bunch of cars. Cars seem kinda a waste of talent.

And you just gave a great idea. I'll go write a firefox extension to filter out all further responses to this thread, as well as anything else that I don't want to see. It'll save me having to look at each item individually to see whether it needs ignoring or not.

Congratulations then on admitting you have no talent. This gives you know right to put down people that are better than you. And Liz is easily better than you. So then you are saying Liz is putting up terrible sketches. Being that you can't draw you wouldn't know good or bad if you saw it. Why don't you go watch someone else that you consider to be "good" then.

And when did you become "Master of Liz Time"? I think she makes some really good money and because of that has time to draw cars or anything else she feels like drawing. No the only one wasting time is you by looking at things you don't like when you could be doing something better with your time. Drawing cars is a waste of time and talent? Ok, go tell that to all those engineers at Ford, Toyota, Ferrari, etc that are making big bucks also of their drawings. Heck half the cars they draw never even go into production. OH, I see. Yet another reason to be jealous of Liz. Her art can (especially cars) make her money. You can't draw anything. So you make zip, zilch, nada from car drawings or any other type of drawing. Perhaps you could make some money at a Burger King. I hear that doesn't take much talent. They could use someone like you I'm sure.

Drawing cars and technical stuff or whatever is a waste of talent?
:XD:
I guess we would all have to just use our "feet" to get from A to B or go there by using horses if that would be a waste of talent.
And I don't think that it makes a difference if that car has got eyes or not concerning the ability to draw or design it.
This makes me want to draw more technical stuff...
