rather fast and bad background as I couldn't work with bigger/longer background file (comp is too lame) as well as the animation didn't turned out as good as I thought it would... and is far away from being correct, but I hope it looks at least acceptable
Flash is only used as format to upload it to DeviantArt, it was initially created in AfterEffects. (as sequence)
Badly AfterEffects can't make flash files (neither import nor export) I had to make the animation fully in AfterEffects (based on a still image) render the whole animation as a .png sequence and than had to save it with a flash-maker as a .swf file (I can't really answer any questions concering the flash file itself as I absolutely have no clue about flash at all I only saved it this way because that's the only filetype DA would allow to upload)
Well though that method seems a bit clunky it does seem to work. I also have to make png sequences but those I render in Maya and then have to use After effects to export the movie form of the 3d animation. Thank you for warning me not to ask about flash animation. Too bad deviant art does not accept other ways to display animation. I do know youtube excepts many video formats and I have many of my animations on my youtube channel under the username Reboomus. So far youtube has been a great place to show off my animations without many problems.
You`re right that the running animation might be not completely accurate but hey, it is still very well done. I can feel that you put alot of energy into this and it really shows.
