... time for another tutorial, since people asked how I shade using the Gradient tool, this generally explains it! This is what I learned when I worked as colorist and a few tricks also when I was in that storyboard-course... You can shade everything using that tool, a rock is just an example.
And it is really fast to work with it... I painted that rock in around 12 minutes... or less. Please refer to this Tutorial (or to my DA URL) if you use this technique, Thanks!
